What I Learned and Recognized From My Significant 2008 Blog Posts:
- February: Joyce’s Apple Pie was the first post I actually wrote. It was loving tribute to my remarkable friend Joyce who had just passed away.
- March: Unexpected Blossoms offered me comfort and joyful. It was a metaphorical opportunity to celebrate and honor my mother and her spirit.
- April: Mom’s Message allowed me to share the vision and passion I feel about offering education, comfort and encouragement to families who struggle with the never- ending challenges of diabetes.
- May: Appreciating Our Teacher was an acknowledgement of a grand day facilitating a What Color Is Your Brain? workshop for 60 middle school teachers, who continue to share the Brain Colors approach with each other; and collaborate with me about their students’ Brain Color Curriculum.
- June: Green Wet Paint – Do Not Touch is a gift from my college roommate’s mother. An accurate expression to utilize when a “Green, Blue, Orange or Yellow Brain” is feeling conflicted or stressed.
- July: A Memorable Birthday Celebration made my “Blue Brain and Heart” sing about memorable times in our son’s life, then and now.
- August: Happiness & The Blue Brain Personality Type Workshop was the 2nd opportunity to work with an admirable group of collaborative lawyers, whose cooperative vision and mission is to help families transition through the ramparts and ravines of divorce.
- September: Orange Brain Color Personality Happiness! a copious and joyful abundance of “Orange Brain” fun!
- October: Business Newsletter & Mission Statement came to me as unexpected gift. I loved sharing the “no bunk, just business sense,” from my parents, who created a success business through their dedication to each other and the individuals who worked with them.
- November: Diabetes, Stress, Motivation & Decision Making demonstrates that helping families make healthy diabetes management decision and utilize their Brain Colors is a priority for me.
- December: Joyful Chaos began with the long awaited arrival of our son and his family from Brazil and ended with the joyfulness of our “delicious” granddaughter. What more could a grandparents ask for!

My favorite is your very first post, the tribute to joyce and how you treasured her so, the smell of apple pie was ever so present.
Orange Brain Color Personality Happiness! was my favorite.
It was a fun, quick breeze through supporting creativity.
