May – Babysitting to the Glory of God
I didn’t intend for this post to really become anything but God had different plans. He stepped into my “boring and ordinary” job as a babysitter and showed me how everything, if done for His glory, has eternal value.
June – Amazed by Grace
After a weekend retreat at the lake I pondered what it means to be amazed by grace and how God so softly touched my heart and renewed my zeal for Him once again.
July – Working for Truth in Cambodia
Never before have I written something that so challenged my own faith and worldview. Some friends of mine traveled to Cambodia to begin work in freeing children from human trafficking and told me their story. I also watched a Dateline special on the topic and was shocked and challenged.
August – Julie’s Top Book Recommendations: Fiction
I love to read and love to help other people love to read so it just seemed natural to share some of my favorite fiction books with everyone. Dig in for some good, hearty reads!
September – Blonde Moment #50 Million
This wouldn’t be me and my blog if I didn’t include any blonde stories. My life is full of humor and it’s something that God uses frequently to keep me humble. They say that pride comes before a fall. This story shows how I learned that very first hand!
October – Fall Poem
A short and sweet poem in which I spread out my poetry wings in an attempt to soar. I actually wrote this poem for a class with a friend and kind of fell in love with it.
November – Writings from the Cave
“Bad days” happen and when they do my attitude often turns sour. This post is a reflection after a particular bad day in which the Lord really opened my heart and reminded me of the context of bad days.
December – A Christmas to Remember
I wrote this a couple of years ago after God touched my heart through a visit to a federal prison on Christmas Eve. My friend and I went to witness their Christmas Eve worship service at the prison where her dad is the chaplain. I wasn’t expecting to be blessed but I was!

Julie, what’s you’ve written about the Cambodia was so true. As I’m worked as a free volunteer teacher in Cambodia before, and I think the children trafficking is very cruel and inhuman!
A Christmas to Remember, Part 1 was my favorite.
I’m a fan of Christmas stories.
