Quote of the Century
If you're new around these parts, I just want to say how much I appreciate your dropping by! Oh, and you may want to subscribe to my feed. Thanks, and a tip o' the hat to ya!

Over at 100 Bloggers, the topic this month is “favorite quotes”. Do yourself a favor and go check ‘em out.
In the meantime, I ran across one yesterday that is so wonderful, so incredibly outrageous, I just had to put it here for all my friends to benefit from.
Are ya ready? Here it is:
“Without my morning coffee, I’m like a piece of dried up roast goat.”
Wanna know who said it?
None other than Johan Sebastian Bach!
You know, it would just be absolutely finer than a frogs hair if you would subscribe to my RSS feed!

I guess he’d have been happy to pay to have his coffee brought to his desk too!
It certainly looks that way, Joanna! Man, I’d hate to be around this guy before he’s had his!
So Robert, do we have any idea how “dried up roast goat” tastes? I’m not sure I want to find out.
Larry, but that’s an easy one!
Tastes like chicken! (sound of rimshot)
I heard that the rest of the quote (which is edited out because it was an aside to his second wife): “Liebchen, please send child #20 down to Von Starbuchs and order me a grande machiatto!”
Hm. Your telling of it is a little catchier…
Hey, Pete! Yeah, just by looking at his picture, you can tell ol’ Johan was one fun guy!
Man, I’m gathering that photo was taken before the morning coffee. I can see the resemblence the dried goat meat…
Sad, but true! … but at least he wrote, well, pretty good music…
