Welcome to the Middle zone, Mr. or Ms. fruit!

I don't know... there's a lotta fast foods I'd go for first! As for it being "bad"... only taste could tell me that - and I'm not goin' first! :-D

I can't imagine the cheeseburger in a can being that bad. Surely not worse than most fast food is anyway?

Diversify... yeah. Diversification can be a good thing, but only if it fits in with their current product portfolio, which should be determined by Katadyne's mission statement. Otherwise they might just end up with a dead end product and a severe drain on resources.

Cheeseburger in a can??? Doesn't sound very appetizing. You have to admire Katadyn for trying to diversify their product line, though.

I'm afraid that's a question I can't answer, Mike!

But I agree, you have to admire the innovative aspect of it. I guess it's like many other ubiquitous products we take for granted. How do you make YOURS stand out?

Like, for instance, toilet paper... :-D

You have to admire the marketing idea of the short fun (if you smoke) filled cig----I just wish I had thought of it--- would it earn me a ticket downstairs?
Can’t you just see those guys brainstorming about possible cig ideas----question is-- Can you have a soul and still work there (tobacco companies I mean)?
Sorry if I offended any smokers-----

Yeah, well - I don't know about you, Mike, but when I'm up on the pinnacle of Mt. Everest (yes, I'm a legend in my <s>own time</s> own mind), I'm not going to be hankerin' for a cheeseburger!

But get me a big ol' sizzlin' plate of beef fajitas, or maybe a rack of barbecued baby back ribs... well, NOW you're talkin'!

Hey Bob!

I can't remember where I saw it, but there was a blog post by some dude who actually boiled up one of those canned cheeseburgers (yes, that's how you cook it). He said it tasted like a rather bland cheeseburger, but if you'd been out on the trail for a week or so it would probably be a welcome change of pace!
