Mark the Date, Y’all!

OK y’all; I want you to mark this date on your calendars: December 21, 2008. Yep; that’s this Sunday. So what’s happening, you ask? Hey, good question!

That’s the day y’all get to open your Christmas present – from me!

Perhaps a word of explanation is in order.

I’m sure you’ve noticed one or two of those weird “It’s comin’!” posts over the last couple of weeks, right? You know; the ones featuring assorted scary-lookin’ critters. (Let’s assume you have, ‘K?) And I bet you’ve been wonderin’ just what’s the deal, right?

Well, as they say down on the funny farm (which, ironically enough, is where I live), ya got your good news and ya got your bad news.

To make it less painful, I’ll let you have the bad news first. Ya ready? OK, here it is: I’m not going to tell you… yet! (sound of crowd booing and hissing) Ah, but now for the good news: You’ll finally find out what it’s all about this Sunday! (sound of crowd cheering enthusiastically)

That’s right; this coming Sunday the Next Big Thing will be revealed! Yours truly – and a whole herd of fine folks – are workin’ feverishly behind the scenes to make sure this coming January is gonna be a month to remember!

So trust me when I say, “It’s gonna be BIG!”
