I don’t know, Mike; there’s still quite a few outhouses around the South, too…

About the stories? Yeah, every day I’m surprised the ol’ brain cells are still functional enough to keep ‘em coming. It’s the retrieval mechanism that’s giving me trouble. But if I get the right “memory jog”, I can usually remember the entire incident.

It’s too bad, though… I’m afraid some of my little gray cells have already taken early retirement.

That is a great story Robert—you have inspired me to go out right now and sand all those splinters off our outhouse seats….
and you know what—we have had so much snow up here in Iowa—the next time I brush the snow off my side (cause we have a 2 holer)—I am going to do her side at the same time….
