Howdy, Deb! Yep, I liked that one, too... although the author wisely refrained from letting us know who they were! Ironic, huh?

I, too, love the quote attributed to Anonymous. Oh, the irony!

Thanks Jeanne! I'm with you - I especially love the one from Steve Martin. Particularly appropriate for me at this time in my life, too...

Robert,

Love the quote credited to "Anonymous"! What a clever piece of irony, considering who said it! And more of us would do well to heed that insightful bit of Dorothy Neville wisdom about the art of conversation! We'd get along so much better! Also love Steve Martin's statement about early creativity. Wouldn't it be wonderful if more of us were able to maintain that early naivete that could keep us going against all odds?

Great selection!

Thanks, Cam! Yes, I think I liked this bunch a lot, too. 'Course, I like every one the best...

The Steve Martin quote came from something I read about him just recently; guess it could have been prompted by his book, but I don't know.

Somehow it seemed to really resonate with me, what with my recent switch from Engineering to Consulting. I plan to have it framed and put it on my wall at work as a reminder.

As usual, your selections are awesome. It's great to see G.K. Chesterton getting some ink - he's my favorite writer and the world would be a much better place if more people read him.

This is one of the best compilations yet. I truly love this series. :)

Is that Steve Martin quote from his new book? I was thinking about buying the audio version.
