I feel your pain. My roommates in the Navy landed at Plattsburgh AFB thinking they were joining us at Burlington International Airport. The runways are pretty much parallel across Lake Champlain from one another. They didn't figure it out until they switched to the ground freq and got something like, "Uh, you're not on our airfield." I'm sure the Air Force had a great laugh at the Navy's navigation skills that day! Couldn't even find the right State! Robert, Great story! I feel your pain.
