April WILF Topic Announcement

Odd Jobs LogoHey, we’re all friends here, right? So you don’t mind if I ask you a, well, personal question, do you? Great!

So what’s the strangest thing you’ve ever done? (Oops, better qualify that, I think.) Er, I mean, for money. (Hmmm… nope; not quite there yet.) No, I mean, what’s the strangest, or the oddest, job you’ve ever had! (Whew; dodged a bullet that time, don’cha think?)

OK, folks; that’s the question on the table (and the topic) as we get ready for this month’s What I Learned From… group writing project. So while you’re relaxing, or just hangin’ out this weekend, you might just begin to commence to start pondering that one.

And, as I already mentioned, to make things interesting there’s a little “something special” about this month’s project. So don’t you worry, my fine feathered friends; even if you can’t tune a fish, you can still tune in next Monday, April 7th, for all the details!

The strangest job I ever had was painting bat houses at a farm. Many farms have bat house because the bats eat things the eat the plants. The bats also eat mosquitoes. However, it really scared me whenever a bat would fly out at me as I was painting the bat house. I don’t want to do this again.

Yuk! That’s something I’d hate to experience myself. Weird little fluttering things give me the creeps. Not to mention the paint fumes… :-D
