All Entries: What I Learned From a Mountaintop Experience
A big ol’ waa-hoo (sound of waa-hoo), not to mention a round of applause (sound of applause) for all the fantastic writers who joined us for this month’s groupwrite project: What I Learned From a Mountaintop Experience.
For this month, we had a total of 23 entries! (sound of crowd cheering enthusiastically) I truly appreciate you sharing your stories (and more importantly, your lessons learned) with the rest of us, not to mention the world at large.
Hey, don’t forget this month’s WILF is a contest, too! That’s right; I’ll be drawing one lucky winner who will receive a copy of Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett’s book, Problogger: Secrets to Blogging Your Way to a Six Figure Income. (Tune in tomorrow for the winner!)
Now, for your edification you’ll find each and every entry listed below (in no particular order, other than it’s how I found ‘em). Do yourself a favor and check ‘em all out. Heck, why not do something really out of the ordinary – why not drop by the authors’ blogs and start a conversation, why don’cha?
You just may be glad you did!

Robert,
A great collection of mountaintop experiences!
Sorry I didn’t participate. I don’t want you to think I won the Problogger book (thanks again!) and then quit participating.
I just couldn’t come up with a mountaintop experience!
I’ll be back when I can come up with a post on the topic, hopefully next month.

Hi Robert! I have been in the midst of living a mountaintop experience and I’m so sorry I missed this month’s WILF. The entries look pretty inspiring and I’m looking forward to working my way through them this week. Nothing to pick you up like a good mountain story!
Hello, Robert. Didn’t know you existed until this a.m. as I was looking around at some favorite blogs & happened upon Terro’s entry (from “The Plum Duff”.) I’ve worked my way through more than half of your entries and enjoyed reading about others’ mountaintop experiences, literal or otherwise.
If you have the time and the inclincation, please visit my site to read my April 16, 2009 entry titled “5 minutes of fame and counting. . .” I know it’s too late for your contest, but fancying myself a writer in training, I’d look forward to the feedback from you and your readers. Thanks!
I’ll be back to check our your next groupwriting contest!

Robert – you’re the best. Thanks for this opportunity!
I hope your week brings at least one or two mountain tops.
@Lillie – Oh, don’t worry; I wouldn’t think that of you, Lillie! Although… if you had a hard time comin’ up with a story for this one, you’re gonna love next month’s!
@Karen – Hey, too bad you couldn’t share it with us now, but I’m lookin’ forward to hearing about it soon!
@Lisa – Hey, welcome to the Middle Zone, Lisa! Hope you join us in future WILFs!
@Paul – A tip o’ the hat to ya, Paul!
Oh, oh, stopped by too late this month to learn what the topic was. What a wonderful assembly of inspirations.
Robyn McMasters last blog post..Making Changes
@Robyn – Hey, long time no see, Robyn! Don’t worry; there’s always next time!

As usual, Robert, another great topic and fabulous entries to go with it. I was gonna do one, but just got too busy preparing for my short absence. I’ll never forget the time I went to camp in Colorado when I was 11 or 12 and we walked our way up to the top of a rock (mountain would be huge compared) that I guess was about 20 feet up.
They hooked me to gear and I stood at the edge… frozen. I don’t know how long it was before I took baby steps backwards. About halfway, it was so cool.
Since then, I’ve gone indoor rock climbing and LOVE it. I also did the skydiving thing. Glad it’s over and had the experience. Doubt I’ll do that one again!

@Meryl – Sounds like you’ve had some great experiences, Meryl! I’ve flown a small plane – but you’d never get me to willingly jump from one, I’ll tell ya! And indoor rock climbing sounds and looks like a lot of fun.
