All Entries: What I Learned From Government

Howdy, y’all! Let’s give a round of applause (sound of crowd cheering enthusiastically) for all you wonderful, talented and no doubt handsome and/or good-looking writers who joined us for this month’s group writing project: What I Learned From Government

Hey, we appreciate you sharing your stories (and more importantly, your lessons learned) with the rest of us. This month we had a total of [updated] 25 entries. Way to go, y’all!

Now, for your edification you’ll find each and every one of ‘em listed below (in no particular order, other than it’s how I found ‘em). Do yourself a favor and check ‘em all out.

Heck, why not do something really out of the ordinary – why not drop by the authors’ blogs and start a conversation, why don’cha? You just may be glad you did!

And last, but hopefully not least, here’s an entry from yours truly:

Y’all give yourselves a big hand, my friends, and as usual, I salute you all a big ol’ tip o’ the hat! Be sure to tune in next month for the next exciting edition of What I Learned From…. And fair warning – it’s not that far away, y’hear?

So, what’s the subject going to be, you ask? Well… that would be telling!

Thanks for organising another thought provoking project Robert, though I’d have to say WILF just isn’t the same without that WordSell guy contributing!

I know what you mean, Joanna. Without fellow Bubba Brad Shorr’s entry, somehow the sun doesn’t shine as brightly, the birds are singin’ a bit flatter than usual… and even my alarm clock wouldn’t work this morning! How does he DO that? :-D

How cool – thanks Robert, for posting these. Now I plan to read each of them.

How wonderful a government event we’ve had lately and as a result I could place the first dynamic lessons I’ve learned in a long time, from government positives. What a great new day!

In spite of the challenges, people are quite energized to dig in, and help out. Amazing what can happen in gov. when people speak and feel heard. Thanks Friend – for the way you engage other’s ideas!

I’m just glad you had a chance to say your piece, Ellen. That’s the whole point of these projects, anyway!

I can’t wait to spring more of ‘em on ya!

So far, I’ve read Lillie and Joanna’s entries…

Both of the posts were awesome and I will spare some times to write the other 23 entries :)

Keep goin’, Wilson; there’s still plenty more!

Would really love to see a “sub-niche” of this…”What I learned from the military”. Spent many years there, and I can assure you that the $800 toilet seat isn’t an isolated incident. On the other hand, I do really miss the closeness you have with your co-workers, and not just during work hours… If someone had a crisis, your teammates would pitch in without being asked.

Bill, I appreciate what you’re sayin’, but I’m afraid such a topic would be a bit too narrow. Besides, anything related to the military STILL fits within the “government” topic, don’cha think?

I try to pick topics so they’ll reach the largest possible audience. But keep thinkin’, Bubba! I’m open to any further suggestions!
