All Entries: What I Learned From Travel

Howdy, Bubba! Hey, if you're new around these parts, I just want to say how much I appreciate you dropping by! Oh, and you may want to subscribe to my feed. Thanks, and a tip o' the hat to ya!

What I Learned From…Y’know, you guys are amazing! Once again, I am honored by your participation in the monthly What I Learned… group writing projects here at the Zone; and particularly by the excellence of your stories. Many thanks for your quality contributions to the General Body of Knowledge!

It’s another great turnout for this month’s topic: Travel, of which we (oddly enough) seem to have a preponderance of Mexico-themed posts. This time we have a total of 18 entries in all! (Er, no guarantees, folks! I counted the list THREE TIMES – but for some inexplicable reason I seem to have a problem accurately counting entries. Don’t know why; I mean, I have all my fingers and toes…)

Anyway, below you’ll find the entire list of entries (in semi-sortof order of receipt). Do yourself a favor and check them all out. Each one finishes the phrase:

What I Learned from…
Travel – Diversity, by Karin H. at Stop/Start
Travel, by Benjamin Penfold-Marwick at Hello Internet
Travel, by themolk at themolk & Michelle’s Blog
traveling in Mexico, by Joanna Young at Confident Writing

the Coyote Hunters, by Nic Darling at Marketing Neophyte
Travel, by Laura Spencer at WritingThoughts
Being Abandoned in Mexico City, by Mike DeWitt at Spooky Action
This Trip was Patience, by GL Hoffman at What Would Dad Say

and of course –
Er, What Was That I Ate, Anyway?, by Robert Hruzek at Middle Zone Musings

Y’all give yourselves a big hand, my friends! And don’t forget to tune in the first Monday of EVERY month for the next What I Learned From… group writing project.

What’s the next topic going to be, you ask? Well… that would be telling!

You know, it would just be absolutely finer than a frogs hair if you would subscribe to my RSS feed!

This is a great breakdown of what how to travel properly. My best advice is to plan ahead and book early. The best deals can often be found way in advance.

Say, do us all a favor, won't you? We’re fairly easy-going around these here parts, but please do NOT enter a keyword phrase or a business, product or service name as YOUR name in the comment section. It will likely get your comment labeled as spam and deleted. You MAY, however, use a real name, nickname or handle, along with a brief identifying phrase, such as "Big Bubba, Midnight Cowboy."
