Get Those Little Gray Cells Ready!

What I Learned From...Hey, guess what? Yep, it’s a brand new month here at the Zone (well actually, it’s probably a brand new month where you are too, but what the hey), and you know what that means, right? Yes, you in the back… yes, you wearing the chicken suit… Hey, good guess!

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, it is time to announce the next Middle Zone Musings What I Learned From… Group Writing Project! (Hey, something this great deserves the capitals, don’t you think?). This month, we kick it off on Monday, August 6th.

Wondering what the heck I’m talking about? Well, if you haven’t yet, click on that cute little WILF tab up there at the top and you will be whisked away to a tropical island a weekend getaway for two the new What I Learned From… page. It not only tells you all about it, but will henceforth (an old English word that means every forth hence) be the landing page for links to every project’s final list of entries (three so far – with many more to come).

So what’s this month’s topic, you ask? Well, I’ll tell you – on Friday. Mwa-ha-ha-ha!

(OK, OK; just for fun – there’s a hint in this post. But don’t tell.)

There’s a reason you don’t see many chickens on tropical islands: it’s 450 degrees inside this thing!

I thought that was you, Mike!

What I Learned From Men In Moustaches?

Or is it What I Learned From Schooling?

Jeanne: Very funny! Have to add that one to the list.

Markk: The moustaches is too clever; schooling seems kinda… obvious.

    Hi Robert
I’ll definitely be lining up again for this (unless it’s about chicken suits) ;) I’ve entered all three WILF projects, so won’t stop now!

If you have time, I invite you to write an entry for my inaugural Shared Answers Group Writing Project, co-hosted with Laura Spencer. http://www.growyourwritingbusiness.com/?p=273

Thanks for promoting it in your shared items sidebar.

Todd: A beard makes you pretty! That’s why I have one!

Yvonne: I knew I could count on you – but make sure you invite your friends, too; I’m going for a new record this month! I’ve been trying to come up with something for your project, too…

eve: I’ll look forward to seeing your entry!

What I Learned from Theme Parks? (It’d be fun researching that one!)

    Sounds a little… self-serving, Pete. Go for it! :-D

Hey, this is getting interesting! Keep ‘em comin’, folks!

    Hi, again, Robert!

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve written a post at Writer’s Notes announcing your group writing project, as well as your home town meme. Hope you’ll have many participants in both!
