Dangerous Ground

Actually, I started out just posting this photo on Flickr.

But when my friend Joanna Young made a comment about it on Twitter the other day, I thought to myself; Self, that’s not a bad idea!

Her comment, if I can recall, was somethin’ along the lines of, “What, are you telling pictures with your photos now?”

Well, Joanna; I didn’t plan to, but what the hey!

p.s. If you’d like to know more, follow the link to the Flickr photo and read the description. Suffice it to say, I found this little drama unfolding in my backyard!

But my question for you today is this: What little dramas are unfolding right under your nose? You might be surprised! Take a moment and look around, won’t you? And if you feel like it, share it with the rest of us! I’ll leave the light on.

Wow Robert, your backyard is a wee scary! lol! This is a great photo! You do forget about these little dramas that play out in the animal and human kingdom. Although if you work in corporate, this photo may be a representation of daily work life. ;-) In my neck of the woods the squirrels are up to something. I am convinced they’re planning to take over, they look like they’re preparing for battle!

@Karen – I’ve always heard most accidents happen at home, but nobody said anything about dangerous animal attacks! Yeesh!

If I were you, I’d keep an eye on those furry little boogers! I mean, you never know…

Honestly, Robert. This picture really scared me off… Each day, I saw many dramas being played, especially in the working place! Sometimes, I thought it’s pretty hilarious, as we didn’t expect it at all…

@Wilson – Hey, all I’m sayin’ is, ya gotta pay attention! You never know what you might situation be about to walk into, y’know?

I just traveled to Vienna this weekend and like most of bigger cities there is at least some drama going on there on every street in a bit less classy neighbourhoods. But your picture shows some real drama (and some real humour) too.

@beljenje – That’s true; there IS drama everywhere. I just didn’t expect anything quite so dramatic as this in my own back yard!

Very interesting animals you’ve got in the backyard! : )

We do not get to see any of these here in Slovenia (Europe), although there are some “scary” ones as well (like wild swine) living in the woods.

    Anyways, thanks for posting!
