@Emma – Hey, no worries, Emma; we’re usually pretty loose about that stuff here. I encourage writers to just, y’know, write whatever they want, so unless it’s totally off the mark, I don’t worry about the details. Much.

Just wanted to say it was great to be involved with this – but that I would like to add a “What I learned from entering this group writing project” if I may?

Firstly, I was amazed at how supportive people have been – I was very nervous about posting up my entry. I learned that it was good to take the risk and be vulnerable, if it’s a good community (like this one).

Secondly, I need to pay closer detail to the brief! I got so caught up in thinking about adversity, that when inspiration struck I wrote and entered – without saying anything about the what I learned from it part. Sorry about that! Next time I will be more careful, and apply some of my working life discipline to my eager, wilful creative writing self!
