Twelve lessons I learned last year:
January: My Bucket List for 2008 – This post received the most search engine traffic all year, which completely baffles me. Obviously I have much to learn about search engines.
February: Second Chance at Keeping Your New Year’s Resolutions – The key lesson here is if your intentions are to improve yourself, your situation or your world, it doesn’t matter what day the calendar shows.
March: Stop Pushing the Buttons – With hubby’s unexpected hospitalization, March was a light blogging month. But this short, off-the-cuff post caught some serious attention. I learned, yet again, the blogosphere is fickle!
April: When People Stare – I learned from one dear reader that, occasionally, not staring can be as offensive as staring.
May: My Journey to Six-Figure Blogging Begins Today – I learned, or perhaps it was reconfirmed, that the blogosphere is a very supportive place. Fickle, but supportive!
June: When Online Friends Meet In-person – I learned bloggy friendships are, indeed, real and deserve to be honored.
July: Passing Judgments: Harmful if They Pass Right On Through? - An important life lesson learned from a smile.
August: Ten Years of Married Bliss, Already? – After ten years of marriage, I have learned the importance of understanding and patience.
September: How WordPress Has Changed My Life – This video spread like wildfire. Once again, expect the unexpected from the blogosphere. But, perhaps the real lesson here is people connect with personal stories.
October: Inspiring Others – A wise friend taught me about grace.
November: 9 Ways to Finding Focus – What I learned about finding focus.
December: The Gift is Within – Sometimes it is worth taking the time to consider the words and
message before writing a post.
