MZM Chosen for Gack Ink Network
It’s like I always say (well, maybe I don’t always say it, but I know I’ve said it many times, or at least once – but I really, really meant it), joining a network can really give your blog a significant boost. That’s why I’m just pleased as punch to announce that MZM is now part of the Gack Ink Network! (Now, where did I just read that? Oh yeah, in the headline!)
Here’s the thing. I heard about it more than two months ago, and I said to myself, “Self, you should see if they’ll accept the Zone.” (Yes, I talk to myself. What’s your point?) Well, anyway, it was so long ago I’d already forgotten about it (hey, to me, anything farther back than two weeks is practically prehistoric).
Well, you could have knocked me over with a feather (sound of me getting knocked over with a feather) when I received a notice the other day that MZM sneaked in the back door fooled them all was accepted! Woohoo! Yaay! (cue the fireworks)
So what that means is… well, actually, I’m not sure exactly what the heck it means (other than I get to display that colorful new button over there on the right). I mean, I’ve never been in a blog network before and don’t have anything to compare it with. But there are some obvious benefits, such as greater exposure (eek! not that kind of exposure, you fool!) and thus more link love.
The Gack Ink Network was founded by four experienced bloggers: Angela Stevens, Char Polanosky, Gayla McCord and Katelyn Thomas; between them they have about a thousand blogs, or something like that, so I gotta believe they know what they’re looking for. I’m honored to be one of them.
But the best thing is, I now have new opportunities to meet some interesting folks out there I didn’t know about – and so do you!
So allow me to say to you ladies: A big tip o’ the Stetson to y’all!
