Worth More Than Rubies was my favorite.
I like the key reminders for more thoughtful and caring conversation:
- slow down and not reply so fast.
- not treat our conversations like a presidential debate.
- ask questions to clarify if I’m not sure about something he said.
- resist the temptation to jump in and finish his sentences.
- ask myself, “Is he ‘just filling me in’ or do I need to make a decision?”
