All Entries: What I Learned From Stress

A big ol’ Texas-sized Waa-hoo (sound of big ol’ Texas sized Waa-hoo) for all you wonderful, talented and no doubt extremely good-looking writers who joined us for this month’s group writing project: What I Learned From Stress!

I’m tellin’ ya, we had quite a turnout! Special thanks to all those who responded to my last minute begging invitations to write an entry, and also to the members of High Calling Blogs. Hey, I appreciate that you’ve chosen to share your stories (and more importantly, your lessons learned) with the rest of us!

And monumental news, folks! This month we  set a new record for the number of participants, with a total of 44 entries! Way to go, y’all! (Sound of crowd cheering enthusiastically, sound of fireworks)

Now, for your edification you’ll find each and every one of ‘em listed below (in no particular order, other than it’s how I found ‘em). Do yourself a favor and check ‘em all out.

Heck, why not do something really out of the ordinary – why not drop by the authors’ blogs and start a conversation, why don’cha? You just may be glad you did!

And last, but hopefully not least, here’s four more entries from yours truly (what can I say? It was an inspired topic, don’cha know!):

Y’all give yourselves a big hand, my friends, and as usual, I salute you all with a big ol’ tip o’ the hat! Be sure to tune in next month for the next exciting edition of the What I Learned From… groupwrite project. And fair warning, y’all – it ain’t that far away, y’hear?

So, what’s the topic going to be, you ask? Well now… that would be telling.

Robert, I just realized something else that stresses me out – a long list of post links where you know every one is going to be wonderful reading! You picked a marvelous theme this month, and I may need a month off to savor all these entries.

    Hi Robert

Isn’t it always nice to break records? Now, like Brad, I need to find time to stress out and read all the entries ;-)

@Brad – Yeah, I know what you mean. I really WOULD like to see us hit 100 entries one day – but gad, I’d need a week to make it through all of ‘em!

  4. Robert Hruzekon Oct 13th 2008 at 8:31 am

@Karin – Well, at least you’ll be reading the right articles when you start stressin’ out!

Hey Robert, that’s some list! Like Brad and Karen, I’m now going to need some time off to dive in. Or maybe two a day until you throw out the next project? :-)

I think it’s safe to say there’s bound to be some useful principles in the many, many entries to this project, Dan! Just make sure you have a really BIG cup of coffee with ya!

Wow, have I been out of the loop! What a fantastic turnout for this one! The number of responses on this topic may in itself be a commentary on the hectic times in which we live! Had planned on joining in myself, but life got a little too…stressful!

Great contributions. I took time out of my “stressful” schedule to have a cuppa and dip in – and it was well worth it.

OMG, Robert. I didn’t even know that there are over 40 of entries for this project, and I think I will need at least few hours to read all the entries :)

  17. Robert Hruzekon Oct 14th 2008 at 6:53 am

@Jean – We were somehow diminished without your contribution this month, Jeanne, but hey, that’s the way the worm turns sometimes, ain’t it? No worries, though. I must admit I was quite amazed at the variety of information available here, though. Quite a turnout!

But not to worry; there’ll be another WILF along shortly!

    Cheers!
