Y’all give yourselves a big hand, my friends! And as usual, a big tip o’ the hat to ya! Be sure to tune in for the next exciting edition of What I Learned From… And be warned; it’s only a couple of weeks away!
So, what’s the subject going to be, you ask? Well… that would be telling. But I can assure you – it’s gonna be a good’un!

Another fine collection, Robert. I’ve already read several and they are all so different. Maybe you should make this theme an annual event.

Thanks for another great group writing project. This one seemed to get a lot of thinking!

@Brad – What I love most about these are the total variety of points of view. Stuff I’d never have thought of, usually.
Annual topic? What an interesting idea! Actually, there’s several that I think would make good annual topics. Might have to add that to the playbook, Brad – good suggestion.
Hi Robert, When you first annouced this month’s topic, I was really excited. Unfortunately, I never got around to writing anything. (I was too busy worrying about something.) Is it possible to get an extension? -Allen

P.S. Seriously, I look forward to reading them. You guys know how to write!
Well, I’ll tell ya what, Allen; since you asked nicely, no problem! Just get it to me today or tomorrow. Do you have a blog? If not, just send it to me and I’ll post it here as a guest post.
Cheers!
Hi Robert,
Thanks for the nudge. It is just what I needed to get a new blog started.

Allen, send me the link and you’re golden!
Fabulous compilation Robert! From the titles alone I can see we have some terrific reading ahead of us, with conversations very likely each stop of the way.
Thank you so much for continuing to host WILF for all of us, for having done a forum or two of my own I know how much work it can be, and how generous you must be with your time pulling all together: What your 19 entries represent are at least 20 blog communities, including this one we lovingly call OUR Middle Zone too!
Now I’m off to do some reading: Love seeing some old friends here, and excited about the new names of those I’m about to meet.
Rosa Says last blog post..Opportunity
Robert,
These look great! Wish I could have (really) been among them! Hopefully, I will be the next time around!
Jeanne
@Rosa – This WAS a great topic, wasn’t it? Brad Shorr suggested we make it an annual topic and I may do that. There were certainly a great variety of entries this time. Thanks for your contribution as well!
Good reading!
@Jeanne – Yeah, we’re somehow “lesser” than we would have been with your contribution, but it’s OK. I’ll hold you to the promise to join us next time!

Robert,
For some reason I thought I had until Aug. 14. Mine was “Life is like a river” and I was waiting for some digital photos my sis took of a kayak trip down the Potomac taken Aug. 3.
Regardless, as said at my site, I’m currently in Class IV rapids paddling to stay afloat and haven’t written much.
Do plan on enjoying the entries here, though.

Sams last blog post..Missed another deadline
Hey, no worries, Sam – we’re all date-challenged at some time or other. Besides, it sounds like you’re havin’ way more fun at the moment.
But if you still want to write your soliloquy to life, then go ahead and send me the link; I’ll add it to the list.

Bob,

I finished mine and don’t know why it became so difficult.
Everyone else’s entry amazed, enlightened and entertained me.
Starting to work on next year’s entry now about how “Life is like a ferry boat ride to Galveston

Thanks for doing it anyway, Sam. I’ve added it to the list above now, and you’ll be in the archive list too.
